Soluble starch
Soluble starches have a wide range of applications in the production of tablets, capsules, and other drug types. Soluble starches are more stable than paste, and have stronger adsorption. When preparing capsules, the addition of soluble starches can improve the fluidity of the drug. Soluble starches are used as shaping agents for the preparation of granulates. They can overcome the disadvantages of high viscosity of paste and difficulty in granulating, simplify the process, and provide a better granular taste. They are often used for the preparation of sugar-free granules.
